Minsk-Bishkek interstate linkup

Minsk and Bishkek held an interstate linkup on the eve of the Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan. Initiated by the Belarusian side the linkup discussed the cooperation between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan, the implementation of joint trade, economic and humanitarian projects, as well as sharing experiences in culture and sports.
The decree on the independence of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan was adopted in 1991. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Kyrgyzstan President Almazbek Atambayev.
