Ministry of Sports and Tourism calls for proposals on development of agroecotourism

The Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Belarus will analyze what changes should be made to the decree of the President “On the development of agroecotourism”. For this, they will collect the opinions of the owners of tourist farmsteads, local authorities and, of course, vacationers. Several forums will be held. The agency will review all the proposals and submit them to the government by the end of the year. The number of tourist farmsteads in Belarus last year increased by almost 12%. The market may sag due to the border closure situation. To maintain positive momentum, many tourist-oriented businesses will have to prioritize the domestic market.
