Ministries of antimonopoly regulation and trade and health care recommend to provide for take-offs and reduce trade markups to avoid rise in prices. The producers as well as wholesale traders are proposed to reduce prices by 2%. Drug stores are recommended to make the most substantial reduction of markups – to 5-6%. Among other measures planned to be taken by the regulating authority are additional talks with business companies, localization of medication production in the Belarusian market, as well as import substitution.
