The International Monetary Fund forecasts gradual recovery of the economy of Belarus in 2018. This was reported today to journalists by the head of the IMF mission in Belarus. According to him, the actions taken by the government to stabilize the economic situation in the country have helped to align the exchange rates and lower the inflation. Piter Dolman notes positive changes in several important areas, which were discussed at the end of last year, including changes in the pension system and the system of public utilities. The IMF mission worked in our country from June 21 to 30. During this time, its representatives have assessed the current economic policy and held the annual consultation with the authorities.
