Meeting of Belarusian-Kazakh business council to be held in Minsk

Topical issues of the Belarusian-Kazakh trade and economic cooperation will be discussed today in Minsk at a meeting of a business council. Top managers of enterprises and companies of Central Asia, as well as heads of chambers of commerce and industry of the two countries will take part in the forum. Astana is interested in the development of interaction with our business in the food industry and mechanical engineering. It is planned that mutually beneficial agreements will be signed after the negotiations. The last year’s trade turnover between the countries amounted to 896 million dollars. Belarus supplies mainly dairy products and automotive equipment to Kazakhstan. Our country imports petroleum products, cotton fiber, steel products.
