Mass harvesting of vegetables in progress in Belarus

Cropping of vegetables continues in Belarus. So, 60% of potato fields have already been cropped in the Vitebsk region. The average yield of potatoes is higher than the national average, and is 404 centners per hectare. It is planned to complete the harvesting of potatoes by October 1. Harvest of beets, cabbage, and onions is very rich this year. In the northern region, stabilization funds plan to lay almost 8 thousand tons of potatoes, four thousand tons of cabbage, about two and a half thousand tons of onions. There are 45 storages for agricultural products in the region.
