Lithuania proposes to intensively use its infrastructure for regular oil deliveries to Belarus. Minister of foreign affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius reported this after the meeting with the head of the foreign political department of Belarus Vladimir Makei. The Belarus-Lithuania economic forum is slated to be held in Klaipeda in May. The prime-ministers of the two countries will have an opportunity to meet there and discuss the whole range of issues. Regarding the economic cooperation between Belarus and Lithuania, it is gradually expanding. Over 600 companies with Belarusian capital operate in Lithuania, the volume of investments from Belarus to Lithuania is growing.
