Leather-producing holding planned to be founded in Belarus

A leather-producing holding is planned to be founded in Belarus. Its main task is to make the work of the profile enterprises profitable. At present their efficiency is low. Yet, the situation improved a bit this year. This was discussed today at a sitting of the Council of Ministers. Starting from this year, the Government introduced state-guaranteed order for raw hides and permitted to sell low-grade leather at stock exchange. The first quarter of 2020 has shown positive dynamics: the stocks reduced by 20%, the account receivable went down. Yet, there are problems with the quality and assortment of the produce. 5 Belarusian leather-processing companies are planned to unite in the holding.
