A reactor vessel for first Belarusian NPP unit will be delivered in a week"s time, as announced at today"s press conference on the country"s major energy project. The equipment for the NPP is estimated at a total of 3 billion dollars. Works at the Belarusian NPP construction site are carried out in accordance with the schedule, with no critical comments observed. Main equipment installation at the NPP will start in 2016. According to the general contract, the first power unit will be commissioned in 2018, the second one is due to be put into operation in 2020.
