Economy results over the past nine months and tactics for next year are being discussed at a large-scale meeting featuring the Belarusian President. In his opening speech, Alexander Lukashenko urged the economic bloc to follow decisions adopted by the 5th All-Belarusian Assembly and not to attribute economic flaws to an unfavourable external background. The President called for working on reducing costs and actively introducing new technologies, including in state assets management.Key tactical documents for 2017, including a draft budget and monetary policy forecast, will be worked out following today"s meeting.
