Italy opens trade agency office in Belarus

An office of the Italian Trade Agency has been opened at the Italian Embassy in Belarus. This will give impetus to the development of business ties. Over the past year, trade between Belarus and Italy amounted to about 800 million euros. The strategic goal for both countries is to achieve a billion euros by 2020. Today Belarus and Italy will continue the dialogue. The development of the green economy in the country will be discussed at the Belarusian Energy and Environment Forum. There's particular emphasis on renewable energy, agriculture and the implementation of the smart cities concept. In total, more than 600 companies from 16 countries will take part in the forum in Minsk.
