India counts on growth of trade with Belarus through expanding cooperation and creating joint ventures. This was stated by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Belarus Pankaj Saxena at a press conference on the occasion of the National Holiday of this republic. Today the country celebrates the 70th anniversary of independence. As the diplomat stressed, India is grateful to Belarus for its support in negotiations on concluding a treaty on a free trade zone with the Eurasian Economic Union. At the end of September, a conference dedicated to this issue will be held in Goa.
