Increase in wages of public-sector employees in Belarus

The first class pay rate of public-sector employees will be increased from Br31 to Br33 in Belarus on 1 September. The first-class pay rate to calculate wages of the employees of budget-financed organizations will be increased by 6.5%. The size of the adjusting coefficients and monthly differentiated benefits will remain the same, the Labor and Social Security Ministry said. The average number of public-sector workers is over 850,000. Last time the first class pay rate was raised in January 2017.
