In Belarus, various options for the production of hard-to-extract oil were mastered. So, a highly productive well was put into operation at the Marmovichi field. Production amounts to 72 tons of anhydrous hydrocarbons per day. As Belorusneft emphasized, drilling using modern technologies allowed the industrial development of the difficult-to-develop zones of the reservoir. Thanks to high-quality design and geological and technological support for well construction, a layer saturated with oil was discovered. Development was carried out very carefully so as not to affect the watery strata. The total reserves of these areas are about a million tons of oil.
