More than a half of the total volume of poor-quality oil has been moved from the Belarusian section of Druzhba oil pipeline system back to Russia. It was replaced by high-quality oil. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Igor Lyashenko during a joint session of both houses of the parliament. All steps to replace substandard oil are spelled out in a joint roadmap. Its implementation ensures that the pipes are completely free from poor-quality oil only by mid-August. This will allow transiting previous volumes of oil to European partners. Assessment of losses from the supply of substandard oil continues. If the parties do not come to a consensus, the court will decide on the compensation.
