Grain harvesting in Belarus

Grain harvesting has started in Belarus. In the Brest region, it began with a beautiful tradition – "Zazhynki", a revived national rite held before the start of harvesting. A local farm "Zhuravlinoe" is one of the largest in the region. Its area is 17.500 hectares. This year, harvesting forecasts are rather good here. This season 250 hectares of barley have grown in the farm. Despite the changing weather, the farmers have already harvested a third of the crops.
