Government to agree on long-term alternative oil supplies contracts

The Belarusian government expects to agree on long-term contracts for the supply of oil alternative to Russian. This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Krutoy. Given the low oil price, Belarus losses from the tax maneuver in Russia in absolute terms are no longer as large as when a barrel cost $60. Nevertheless, the topic of alternative oil supplies will be constant on the oil agenda at the request of Belarus President.
