Government presenting next year's draft budget in parliament

Today, the so-called "zero reading" of the 2020 budget will be held in the parliament. The government will present its version of the document. The MPs will be able to familiarize themselves with it in detail and, if necessary, introduce amendments. Next year, it is proposed to strengthen the social bias of the budget through increased spending on health, education, and the social sphere. The growth of salaries of public sphere employees is laid down as at least 10%. There are new measures to support large families. In particular, it will be possible to use the family capital ahead of standard schedule.
