Government holds conference call on harvesting campaign

The government held a conference call with participation of regional officials to discuss the harvesting campaign. One of the issues on the agenda was preparation for wintering in animal husbandry. The government analyzed the situation with the procurement of feed. According to First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Igor Brylo, the volume of herbal fodder procurement in Belarus is expected to be at the level of last year. Particular attention is paid to the preparation of livestock barns. This work is scheduled to be completed by November 1. Livestock is being brought from the fields into the wintering barn stalls.
