GDP over 6 months – 3.3%

Over the first half of the year, GDP growth in Belarus was 3.3%. Moreover, it was industry that made a significant contribution to economic development. It made up to 80% of the GDP. This was stated by the Minister of Economy Alexander Chervyakov. Growing markets have a positive effect and our enterprises have orders for 2-3 months. In addition, the Ministry of Economy is developing new directions for sales, in case Belarusian manufacturers face sanctions pressure. Special attention is paid to import substitution. Over 5 months, goods worth $5 billion were produced under this program. The annual program has been completed by a quarter.
