A forest biofactory was opened in the Mogilev Region. It will cultivate up to 4 million seedlings annually, including spruce, pine, and deciduous trees. The project is being invested by the World Bank. The production of planting material with a closed root system is a global trend. This will allow growing seedlings all year round, except for winter. The survival rate is almost 100%. The biofactory plans not only to provide the forests of Belarus with seedlings, but also to supply planting material for export.
