The Belarusian agrarians are approaching the first million tons of grain. The landmark is likely to be achieved as early as tomorrow, the Agriculture ministry does not rule out. Grain and leguminous crops have been collected from 14% of the whole area. The total volume of the cropped grain in Belarus makes now 857 thousand tons, with the average yield at 28.6 hundreds of kilograms per hectare. The Brest region is leading. The first crew there gathered 1.000 tons. Grodno and Gomel regions are also active. Rains in other regions hinder high scale cropping there.
