First million tons of grain harvested

Mass harvesting of grain continues. The first million tons of grain harvested. The leaders are Brest, Gomel and Minsk regions. Grain growers of the Central region are now harvesting barley, rye, triticale. In the "Polochany" farm of the Molodechno district, machinery cultivates the first wheat fields of the season. About 700 hectares were allocated for this grain crop. The expected yield is at least 54 centners per hectare. In total, the farm plans to harvest more than 7.5 thousand tons of grain during the harvesting season. This is 15-20 percent higher than last year.
