In connection with the abolition of customs privileges from the beginning of the year, compensatory measures for residents of free economic zones were approved in Belarus. According to the President’s Decree single deadline of FEZ existence is December 31, 2049. Also the boundaries of the FEZs "Brest", "Grodnoinvest" and "Vitebsk" are expanding. An adjustment to the amount of investments from one million euros to 500 thousand euros will be also provided. Residents are exempt from paying a number of VAT.
