Electricity generation by wind turbines in Belarus increased more than 20 times

Over the past year, the total capacity of wind turbines around the world has increased by 14%. This is an absolute record for the wind energy market in its entire history. More than a hundred wind turbines operate in Belarus. Among them is the highest in the CIS – In the Mstislavl district. Over the past five years, the production of electricity by wind turbines in our country has grown more than 20 times. The development of other types of renewable energy has also been launched in Belarus. There are about 500 installations in the country. Among which are biogas, photovoltaic and hydropower installations.
