Electric cars can be imported to Belarus without VAT

Belarusians will not pay VAT for the import of electric vehicles into the country. The norm has come into force today and will be valid until 2026. The innovation will affect only Belarusian citizens and foreigners living in the country permanently. Legal entities and entrepreneurs will continue to pay tax in full. Until 2021, the import of electric cars for personal use is also exempt from customs duties. By the way, now in Belarus there are about 250 electric charging stations.
