E5P might allocate €17m in grants for green projects in Belarus

The office of the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environmental Partnership (E5P) fund has officially opened in our country. It will provide grants to implement green projects in Belarus. The first agreement has been signed to provide €2 million to improve solid waste management in Pukhovichi District. The regional landfill in Pukhovichi will become the first one in Belarus to fully comply with the EU eco-standards. Belarus became one of E5P participants last year. This opened access to grant support of investment projects in energy efficiency and green economy.
