Digital Economy Development Ordinance enters into force

Digital Economy Development Ordinance enters into force in Belarus. The document has been developed in accordance with the request of the Head of the High-Tech Park Administration in cooperation with the IT-community, leading law and consulting firms in Belarus, as well as foreign experts. The decree brings our legislation closer to the English law. Foreign HTP employees are granted visa-free entry and stay. The range of resident activities has been expanded significantly. The effect of the document became obvious even before its entry into force. Over the first quarter, the number of Park's resident companies increased by 25%, while exports went record high at over one billion dollars. It is expected that the new regulations will affect many other industries.
