Development of tractor industry

The government suggests setting up new tractor production at the Amkodor company. Today the project was submitted to the President. At the meeting with the head of state the future of the domestic tractor industry is discussed by vice-premiers, ministers and industry representatives. The head of state was interested in the current situation at Amkodor and MTZ compnies. Alexander Lukashenko believes that it is necessary to discuss all available proposals and take decisions that will allow Belarusian enterprises to reach a higher level, create new competitive types of agricultural machinery. Today tractor industry in the country is represented by Belarus brand. The manufacturer is present in 60 countries and operates assembly lines in various parts of the world. Every tenth tractor in the world comes from our country.
