Development of construction industry to be discussed today at large meeting in Minsk

Matters pertaining to the construction industry development will be discussed today at a large meeting in Minsk. It is expected that the President of Belarus will take part in it. The conversation about improving the efficiency of the construction industry and the quality of services began the day before. The first day of a large-scale seminar was held in the capital. Participants discussed future changes to the industry. These include the introduction of a single tariff for electricity for households, the operation of house-building factories and the export of construction services. One of the key topics of today’s conversation will be the possibility of reducing costs in the industry. The Ministry of Architecture and Construction is taking the initiative to abandon auctions when it comes to individual residential development. It is proposed to introduce a mechanism of shared construction.
