Delegation from Russia's Kursk region is visiting Minsk

Belarus and Russia continue strengthening interregional cooperation. A delegation from Russia's Kursk region is visiting Minsk. It is headed by the governor, accompanied by heads of leading industrial and agricultural enterprises, educational institutions, and businessmen. The plans of the Russian delegation include negotiations with Belarus' top officials, participation in the meeting of the working group on cooperation. The visit is expected to result in signing of important agreements. For the Kursk region, Belarus is one of the main partners. Over January-August, our trade turnover amounted to 83.5 million dollars, which is almost 40 percent more than last year.
