Decrease in demand in labor market

In Belarus, a decrease in the number of vacancies is observed. Over the past month, it decreased by more than 13 thousand. The closure of borders amid the coronavirus pandemic has affected entire industries. According to experts, employers took a break and are in no hurry to offer jobs. Mostly, demand fell in the tourism, hotel and restaurant business. It is noteworthy that requests for new professions appear. More than 60 applications were received for medical disinfectors and volunteers for the safe delivery of meals to medical staff.
