Council of Ministers' Presidium to look into social and economic developments in Belarus over H1 2017

Today the Presidium of the Council of Ministers will look into the results of the socio-economic development of Belarus in the first half of the year. The two-year-long recession has ended. The economy shows signs of recovery. Since the beginning of the year, the GDP has grown by one percent. The industrial sector has grown by 6 percent. Retail trade turnover is also in the black. Investments, housing construction and wages still need to catch up.
