Council of Ministers fixed limits in price growth for socially important goods

The Council of Ministers of Belarus fixed limits in the price growth for socially important goods. The list includes 62 items, among them cereals, bread, meat, milk products, some fruit and vegetables, several non-food goods, as well as a half a hundred medications. Starting from March 1, the price change for such goods cannot exceed 0.2% to the price on the last day of the previous month. Prices may grow over the fixed limits only upon an approval of a special board at the Council of Ministers.
