Cooperation between Belarus and the International Monetary Fund was duscussed yesterday at a meeting of Belarus’ President Alexander Lukashenko with head of the IMF mission in Belarus Peter Dohlman. Our country's relations with this influential financial organization are characterized as productive. It should be noted that according to the data of the Finance Ministry of Belarus, our budget for 2017 complies with the requirements of the International Monetary Fund. Belarus is interested in cooperation with the IMF if the national interests are respected. Belarus also aspires to launch a new program of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund worth 3.5 billion dollars.
