Construction of the first oil artery for internal transit began in Belarus. The main oil pipeline Gomel-Gorki will connect the southern and northern branches of the Belarusian oil transportation system. Its length is 207 kilometers. The pipeline will pump 6 million tons of raw materials per year. It is more economical and more reliable than rail transportation. The oil artery will run through 7 regions and will allow pumping raw materials between Belarusian refineries. This will improve logistics, resolve the issue of diversifying the supply of raw materials and form its own strategic reserves.
