Comprehensive efforts to promote financial recovery of agricultural companies in Belarus

The effort to ensure the financial recovery of agricultural companies will be systematic and comprehensive, Belarusian Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov said. Earlier the president supported the government’s initiatives and signed a decree on financial recovery of bakery plants and processing companies in the regions. As many as 41 farm enterprises were defined as insolvent in Gomel region as of 1 January. By July, 15 of them achieved solvency, 19 companies improved their financial status. During the working visit to Gomel region, the prime minister got familiarized with the progress in the harvest campaign. According to the head of government, agrarians should reach a certain pace in the coming days and take on average 5 percent of the crop per day.
