China-made electric buses on trial run in Mogilev

China-made electric buses are on a trial run in Mogilev. The eco-friendly vehicles was a gift to the 750^th anniversary of the city from the Chinese province of Hunan. Now the buses run in the test mode without passengers. According to the technical requirements, the driving distance should be at least 500 km. The city administration estimates show that the electric bus used instead of trolleybuses will help to save up to 35% of electricity. 14 drivers competed for the right to operate the four new vehicles. If the test run is successful, the electric buses will be put into operation by the end of the week.
