By 2035, over 2 million people to be able to work remotely in Belarus

By the year of 2035, more than 2 million people will be able to work remotely in the digital economy of Belarus. This is provided for by the national program "Belarus as IT country". Information technologies can be a major source of income for many citizens and businesses. It is also expected that the trend to work from home will help people with disabilities improve their financial situation and be in demand on the labor market. According to the World Labor Organization, the number of remotely employed in the world is growing. In Japan and the USA alone, their share has already reached almost 40%.
