Business incubators to open in 12 regions of Belarus

605 projects totaling more than 100 million Belarusian rubles (about 50 million USD) are the result of a joint two-year project implemented jointly by UNDP, the Ministry of Economy and the Development Bank. It aims at promoting employment and self-employment in small and medium-sized cities of Belarus. A special loan program has been developed for this. In addition, about one and a half thousand start-up entrepreneurs were trained in the basics of doing business. The new project is designed for three years. In 12 districts, business incubators will open and financing of the first initiatives will begin.
