Brest region and Moldova interested in setting up joint ventures

Brest region of Belarus and Moldova are interested in setting up joint ventures on processing vegetables and fruit. This was discussed at a meeting between the regional authorities and Ambassador of Moldova to Belarus Victor Sorochan. The countries have been cooperating for long. Their interests coincide, there are prospects for increasing commodity turnover. The Moldovan agricultural produce can be processed in Belarus. Chisinau accentuates development of cooperation links. Holding of Moldovan holidays and gastronomic festivals in Belarus is under discussion.
