On 14 April Bishkek is to host the Eurasian Economic Union summit.  The agenda for the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council includes Moldova’s application for observer status in the union. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affaires, Belarus is interested in further expansion of trade and economic cooperation with Moldova and is ready to do this using different mechanisms. Also, Minsk does not rule out the possibility of the speedy signing of the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union.
