Bilateral partnership between Belarus and Bangladesh discussed at Council of the Republic

A delegation from Bangladesh is visiting Minsk. The prospects for bilateral partnership were discussed the day before at the Council of the Republic. The parties confirmed their readiness to increase trade. Among the priorities are mechanical engineering and potash fertilizers. The leading exporter of Belarusian engineering products to Bangladesh is Amkodor. Earlier, the countries already signed an agreement for the supply of Amkodor-made road equipment to the tunes of $500 million. In general, last year Belarus recorded a surplus of $22 million in trade with Bangladesh.
