Belorusneft eager to extract million tonnes of oil equivalent in Russia

The Belarusian company Belorusneft intends to extract 160 thousand tonnes of oil equivalent in Ecuador in 2020. The parties have developed a joint project in that country with more and more oil produced every year. In 2019, 135 thousand tones of oil were extracted. As far as oil extraction in Russia is concerned, Belorusneft has much more ambitious plans. They intend to secure the extraction of 1 million tonnes of crude oil equivalent this year. Natural gas will be the main product. They are planning to extract about 700 million m3 of natural gas and associated gas.
