Belarusian trams win international acclaim. This year 8 new units of the eco-friendly public transport will be running in Daugavpils, Latvia. The Belarusian manufacturer of modern urban electric transport has won the tender defeating four competitors. The amount of transaction is more than 2 million euros. Recently a tramcar modernization enterprise opened in Novosibirsk, Russia. There are also plans to start manufacturing Belarusian transport in Iran in the near future. The negotiations are underway.
