«BelGee» plant for the production of passenger cars opened in Belarus

Belarus President participated in the grand opening of the «BelGee» plant for the production of passenger cars. The enterprise «BelGee» is a unique project not only for our country, but also for its foreign participants. The company Geely has for the first time opened a full-cycle factory abroad. Its capacities allow producing 60.000 cars a year. In the future, this indicator can be doubled. Alexander Lukashenko got acquainted with modern technological processes of welding, assembling and painting cars. As of now the plant produces one model – a crossover. By the end of the year, 1.300 cars will come off the assembly line.
