The Sakhalin Oblast of Russia plans to purchase a batch of diesel trolley carriers from BelAZ for work in open pit mines. An experimental model of such a machine was presented in Zhodino at a specially equipped training ground. The car travels part of the way from the electricity it receives from the contact network (according to the trolleybus principle). Know-how combines environmental friendliness and economy. The Belarusian Automobile Plant has shown for the first time yet another "green" development. This is a 90-tonne mining dump truck that is fully battery powered. Such a machine will be able to work together with diesel trolley cars in coal and other open pits. Guests from Sakhalin were able to personally experience the novelty.
