BelAZ is testing electric dump truck

Belarusian Automobile factory BelAZ is testing an electric dump truck with carrying capacity of 90 tons. The new car is not only ecologically friendly but also economical. It is important, as deliveries of cargoes from some remote quarries cost much. Another new BelAZ model is a diesel trolley truck. It is already working in the quarries of Sakhalin. The world presentation of the 90-ton electric dump truck is planned for the autumn. The factory plans to create a 220-ton truck with an electric battery.
