BelAZ expanding to Indian market

BelAZ, Belarusian manufacturer of mining vehicles, is expanding into the Indian market. The company has signed a contract to supply 77 dump trucks with the payload capacity of 136 tons to Coal India Limited. The vehicles will be used at the Gevra open cast mine complex. The vehicles will be supplied with spare parts and provided with maintenance service for the period of eight years. A maintenance center is to open near the mine complex. The contract is estimated at about $200 million. The first shipments of dump trucks will be made in November and December 2019.
