The Belarusian NPP will be ready for inspection before licensing its operation in April - May. This was announced by head of the State atomic energy control board. By about the end of March, the nuclear power station will complete the first stage of pilot and field testing. Then, complex trials will be held. After that, an expert evaluation will be submitted to the Emergencies ministry board for a decision on licensing. The State atomic energy control board also commented on the shutdown of the NPP's first energy unit. The tests are aimed to bring operation of systems and equipment to design values. Before their successful completion, the station cannot move to the next level.
